Cold-room monitoring for a cheese maker

Situation
A cheese maker with four ripening rooms and two cold stores checks temperatures on paper twice a day. A compressor that fails on a Saturday night can cost a month of production.
What we build
Wireless temperature and humidity sensors feed an automation that watches for drift, not just alarms. A slow rise combined with longer compressor runtime opens a maintenance ticket, warns the person on call by WhatsApp and writes the HACCP log entry itself.
Outcome
Faults are caught hours before a threshold alarm would fire, the HACCP file writes itself, and published results for sensor-driven cold chains report 20 to 30 percent less spoilage.

Harvest to invoice for a vegetable grower

Situation
During harvest a grower handles field lots, weighbridge tickets, delivery notes and invoices across paper, a spreadsheet and the accounting package. Invoices go out weeks late and payment reminders wait until winter.
What we build
Each lot is recorded once, in the field or at the weighbridge. The delivery note, the invoice and the payment reminder follow from that record, and a person only steps in when weights or prices do not match.
Outcome
Invoices leave the same week as the delivery, and the traceability record is a by-product instead of a separate job.

Subsidy and grant workflow for a farm or cooperative

Situation
Eligibility rules, supporting documents and deadlines differ for each scheme, and a missed deadline or a missing document means waiting another year.
What we build
An automation screens which schemes you qualify for, collects the documents from the systems where they already live, and tracks every deadline with reminders to the right person.
Outcome
No deadline is missed, and the file is complete before the application window opens.

Cresly is an AI studio based in Brussels. We work with agrifood companies of 1 to 100 people in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia, in French, Dutch and English, and with farms, cooperatives and food producers elsewhere in the European Union.

Discovery happens on site or on a call, in your language. Your data stays on European infrastructure, and everything we deliver comes with the documentation the EU AI Act expects from you: what the system does, where a person decides, and how to switch it off.

Agrifood is the only sector we work in: farms, cooperatives and food producers whose processes run on orders, quality checks and traceability, often with sensors already in place and nobody reading them. Those are the processes we automate first.

How we price

No per-seat licences and no lock-in. You pay for the work, and you own what we build.

Discovery (fixed fee)

One to two weeks. We map where automation creates the most value and hand you a written plan with a fixed quote, whether or not you continue with us.

A scoped system, connected to your tools and tested on real cases with your team. Most first projects go live in four to eight weeks.

Questions we hear most

What does process automation cost?

It depends on the number of steps and systems involved. Discovery is a fixed fee and ends with a fixed quote for the build, so you know the total before you commit.

Can you connect to our ERP, accounting or farm-management software?

Usually, yes. We build on the systems farms and food producers actually run: Odoo, Exact Online, Teamleader, Billit, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and most ERPs, farm-management packages and webshops. If a system has an API, an export or an inbox, we can build on it. During discovery we test each connection and put in writing what works and what does not.

Do you also install sensors?

We specify them and connect them. Installation is done with your technician or a partner. Off-the-shelf LoRaWAN or Wi-Fi sensors are usually enough; you do not need a custom device.

What happens when a step fails?

The automation stops at that step, keeps what it has done, and hands the case to a person with the context attached. Exceptions are the point of human-in-the-loop design: routine work runs, judgement stays with your team.

Is this compliant with GDPR and the EU AI Act?

Yes. We sign a data processing agreement and we deliver the documentation the AI Act asks of a deployer: what the system does, where a person decides, and how to switch it off.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. The flows, the code and the data are yours, running in your own accounts. If you stop working with us, everything keeps running.

Is automation worth it for a small farm, or only for large processors?

For both, as long as the company has between 1 and 100 people. A family farm with one process that costs a day a week is as welcome as a processor with three sites. We do not work for large groups or multinationals.

How do you handle seasonal peaks?

An automated process runs the same in the busiest week as in the quietest, which is the point. We size it for your peak volumes and plan go-live outside harvest, campaign or peak production, so your team is never learning a new system at the worst moment.

Are our sensor, lot and production data kept in the EU?

Yes. Sensor readings, lot records and production data are stored and processed on European infrastructure, in your own accounts, under a data processing agreement. The data stays yours and leaves with you if you stop working with us.
